Pricing
Prices shown are in euro and are inclusive of vat at the rate applicable to that product. Athlone Joke Shop is vat registered, vat registration number IE?………. . There will be an additional charge for delivery that is €5 on orders up to €50, all orders of €50 or above enjoy free delivery.
Purchasing
Shopping at Athlone Joke Shop could not be easier. Simply browse through the large selection of Costumes, Fancy Dress Accessories, Party Goods, Jokes, add them to your shopping basket. Once you have finished shopping click on the checkout icon and complete your delivery details. You will then be taken to a secure server to complete your payment. Confirmation of your order (once payment has been confirmed) will be sent to you via email.
Availability
To the best of our ability only those items currently in stock are shown on our site. In the unlikely event of any item of stock being unavailable or delayed, we shall contact you by phone or e-mail to advise you of the new estimated time of delivery, together with, if appropriate, suggested alternative items. If you wish to change or cancel your order you can e-mail athlonejokeshop@eircom.net or call us on 0906476555 and your order will be revised, or fully refunded.
Payment and Security
We accept segment accessible from the internet, ensuring you of the highest possible protection for your credit or debit card details Visa and Mastercard. All payments are processed using Paypal. Despatch and Delivery
Subject to availability, goods will be despatched within one working day of confirmation of order. Orders placed before 12 noon are dispatched the same day. Fastway courier delivers goods or An Post (within Ireland) to the delivery address supplied by you during the purchasing process and will normally be delivered the following working day after despatch. A standard delivery charge is applied on all orders up to €50, delivery is free on orders greater that €50.
Returns and Refunds
If you are not completely satisfied with any of your purchases, please return within 10 days of receipt of goods for a complete refund or replacement. Goods should be returned in full and in good condition, including all packaging, at your own expense. Certain items of hosiery cannot be returned for hygiene reasons; this applies to stockings, tights and panties.
NB: Goods returned more than 21 days from original despatch will not be refunded, and will incur additional postage charges if the items are required to be returned to you.
Re-Packing – Please re-pack any items that have been taken out of packaging carefully, including the proper folding of costumes, and include all costume parts.
NB: Please do not tape costume packaging, or attach other paperwork to the returned items, as this may cause damage to the packaging.
Items not returned in full or in poor condition; torn or worn cannot be refunded.
If for any reason the item is damaged on arrival, you should phone us upon discovery.

To ensure goods reach us safely, we advise you to use recorded delivery and arrange insurance against loss or damage. We cannot accept liability for returned goods that are lost or damaged during transit. All refunds will be made within 30 days of receipt of return.
